Tom is an 18+ year veteran Det./Sgt. in the Vermont State Police currently assigned to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation as a Deputy State Fire Marshal. He is an NFPA Pro Board Certified Fire Fighter and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator. He has over a 1000+ hrs. of fire investigative training and over 16 yrs. fire investigative experience. He is currently President of the Vt. Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators. He has taken courses in advanced Crime Scene Forensic Mapping and has attended fire investigation and major case courses around the country. Tom is also a certified accident reconstructionist.
