Elizabeth A. Wilkel, a VT Licensed Investigator, and VT IAAI Chapter President, VSP Sgt. Thomas Williams are pictured following the 2 MCLE credit course they presented along with Michael Lane to members of the Vermont Bar Association at their 131st Annual Meeting at Lake Morey on Sept 25, 2009. Their course was entitled ‘Defending or Prosecuting a Fire Related Case’. The Vermont Bar Association reported record attendance with approximately 350 members participating in the day long program which featured several other MCLE courses as well as their annual meeting. |

5th Alarm Arson Fire |
|
June 8th, 2008 Springfield, VT. 5 alarm fire which caused extensive damage to the Ellis Block Building which housed 16 apartments, Hair Salon, and the Springfield Movie Theatre. Investigation by VSP, Fire Safety, and SPDfound a disgruntled tenant had started the fire in the rear of the building. |
