A MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT THOMAS WILLIAMS
With the conclusion of the Annual meeting in June, our year has ended for the summer. What a year it has been for our organization! The successes of our various training programs is a credit to all of you. We had a series of training programs on legal issues that were presented by some of the outstanding attorneys in the State. We welcomed personnel from New York State on issues of restaurant fires. We finished the year with a presentation by Dr. Aronstein, a world renowned expert on electrical failures, and our “mini Trial”.
Mike Lane, of our Chapter, is facilitating a joint training program with the NYS Chapter. He is working with Chapter President William Schmidt to put together a joint program in the fall. I look forward to our working with the NYS Chapter to bring both Chapters together for the mutual benefit of our craft.
I continue to be amazed at the professionalism of our chapter members and the enthusiasm they bring to our meetings.
My congratulations to Gene Bastian, our Treasurer, for his designation by the Board as a life member. His guidance and good counsel for the past fifteen years to the Chapter is memorialized by our designation to him as a Life Member.
My best wishes to all of you and your families for a safe and happy summer season.
Cordially,
Thomas Williams, President Vermont Chapter IAAI.
